The London Design Awards celebrate innovative and creative building interiors, with consideration given to space creation and planning, furnishings, finishes, and aesthetic presentation.
Olivia Burton approached us once they secured their very first flagship store location within Covent Garden, London. Their vision was to showcase the brand’s love of beauty, fashion, vintage and nature-inspired themes.
We provided an in-house team of architects, designers and civil engineers and were able to work with Olivia Burton from start to finish, providing 3D models, code compliance, site analysis and fully sustainable build-outs. Our aim was to deliver a design that ensured a constant element of surprise and delight to customers during every visit.
The concept was to have full control over the entire customer experience, and within the experience to execute each of Olivia Burton’s brand pillars: catwalk fashion, nature, vintage, art and craft, and wellness. In order to take their customers on a journey, the collections are strategically placed throughout the space, so that the brand themes played out and visitors experience everything that Olivia Burton is about.
Olivia Burton constantly celebrates art and craft in their collections, so it was crucial to incorporate this into the boutique. An example is the honeycomb pillar focal point, inspired by a love for bees, creating a striking point of difference in-store. There are also life-affirming quotes placed throughout, reflecting Olivia Burton’s passion for wellness.
The partnership with Olivia Burton was extraordinary. Starting with concept and design collaboration through construction and finish to furnishing. The goal was to create an experiential space where customers could spend time and leave with lasting memories and mementos.
Well done!
