“How could this little idea for a business that I started in my 400-square-foot apartment, where I changed my home answering machine message to sound like a corporate voicemail, upgraded myself from ‘Apt. 3B’ to ‘Suite 3B’, and worked on a PC with a dial-up modem on my kitchen counter – be 30 years old?!
Those beginnings are almost unrecognizable.
30 years! Just writing that number feels unbelievable and almost impossible.
How could so much time have gone by?” says Evan Giniger, Founder and President of Dynamic.
Since 1994, Dynamic has been providing world-class in-store service solutions for leading retailers, global brands, and suppliers to those brands.
And now, in 2024, we are celebrating our 30th anniversary!
The Early Days of Dynamic
As Evan explains it, Dynamic got its start when he saw room for improvement in how his retail store displays and fixtures were installed, managed, and maintained.
“My background is in the design and manufacturing of store displays and fixtures. We would have the fixtures manufactured and shipped to the stores and that is where our responsibility would end.
Early on, we were approached by one of our clients, Levi Strauss, to not only supply the fixtures, but to also manage the installation once they arrived at the store. The problem was that quite often the fixtures would end up in the wrong spot, or worse, just sit on the loading dock.
I personally flew out to a few stores to help move the fixtures from the truck to the correct location.
I realized that this was a service that we could sell and charge for and soon we began to market this as a stand-alone business.
Within a year our installation business was double our design/manufacturing business and we pivoted to 100% in-store services. This allowed us to connect with and help all the other manufacturers who were also struggling with this problem and with retailers and brands directly.”

In fact, in 2021, Dynamic became an employee-owned company with the implementation of our ESOP (Employee Stock Ownership Plan). With this, each team member is a true owner of the company and is awarded shares of stock every year.
